Designed and built by Rotherham Construction Partnership the council's public-private framework, as part of a £13.8m development. Moorgate Crofts provides ideal incubation support for pre-start and start-up businesses. It's aimed at entrepreneurs in the IT, digital, creative and professional and financial services sectors.

The building is a mix of traditional and modern materials, and uses innovative, environmentally friendly technologies such as geothermal heating, recycled building materials and a roof covered with more than 8,000 plants.
